Miriam Lachenauer - Flute

Miriam Lachenauer is an active symphonic and chamber musician. In addition to playing principal flute with the Metropolitan Orchestra of New Jersey, she is principal flute with the Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra and the orchestra of Opera Theater of Montclair.

Miriam has appeared as soloist with the Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra and Ramsey Wind Symphony and has performed at Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall.

Miriam maintains a private studio in Suffern, New York.

Miriam holds a Bachelor of Music in performance from Syracuse University where she studied with John Oberbrunner. Her other major teachers include Gerardo Levy, Renee Siebert and Paige Brook.
